The Annual Tradition of "Flying Our Flag"

This annual tradition is a simple yet powerful way to express our collective pride, unity, and commitment to Singapore. As we celebrate 60 years of Independence and rally behind this year’s NDP theme, “Majulah Singapura”, the flag serves as a shared symbol of our common values, aspirations, and sense of belonging.

By making flag collection easy and accessible through the Shopee app and their islandwide network of Collection Points, we are proud to support more households* in taking part in this meaningful tradition, bringing the spirit of celebration into homes across the country.

*Eligible to Singapore Citizens and PRs only, while stocks last.

Respectful Use of the Flag

As per national guidelines, the Singapore flag can be displayed from 1 July to 30 September 2025. Please ensure it is displayed respectfully and taken down after this period.

Always ensure the crescent moon and five stars are in the top left when viewed.
The flag should be hung upright, clean, and not obstructed.
Please do not place the flag on the ground, use it as clothing, or for decorative items like tablecloths or towels.
If the flag becomes worn or damaged, seal it in a black bag before disposal.

Flag Redemption Process

Q1: Who is eligible to redeem a flag?
The National Flag redemption is available to eligible households, while stocks last. Redemption is strictly limited to: (1) Singapore Citizens and PRs, and (2) One redemption per household (based on your registered address in Singpass).

Q2: Is the redemption free?
Yes, redemption is free and you can choose to collect your flag from more than 3,000 Shopee Collection Points. You also have the option of doorstep delivery for a nominal top-up fee of $1.99.

Q3: How do I redeem a flag?
From 9 Jun, 12pm click the “Redeem Now” button above to access the Fly Our Flag page on Shopee.

Log in to your Shopee account (or create one if you don’t have an account)
Click “Redeem Now” on the Fly Our Flag page on Shopee
Verify your eligibility with Singpass
Select your preferred delivery or self-collection option
Complete the checkout

Q4: When does the redemption start and end?
Redemption opens on 9 June 2025, 12pm, and will run until 15 July 2025, 11.59am, or while stocks last. We encourage early redemption.

Q5: Is there a limit to how many flags I can redeem?
Yes. Each eligible household is allowed to redeem only one (1) flag, regardless of the number of residents in the household.

Q6: Can I redeem on behalf of my family or neighbours?
No. Redemptions are limited to one per registered address and are not transferable. Duplicate entries to the same registered address may be rejected.

Flag Collection & Delivery

Q7: Where are the Shopee Collection Points located?
Shopee Collection Points include a network of retail and residential pickup locations, along with SPX Express lockers and pick lockers. You can select your preferred location during the redemption process.

Q8: When can I start displaying the flag?
The flag can be displayed between 1 July and 30 September 2025, in line with national guidelines.

Q9: Are there any rules for displaying the flag?
Yes. Please observe the following:

Ensure the crescent moon and five stars face top-left when viewed
Hang the flag upright, clean, and unobstructed
Do not place the flag on the ground, use it as clothing, or convert it into decorative items (e.g., tablecloths)
If damaged, the flag should be sealed in a black bag before disposal.

Q10: What if my flag is lost or damaged?
Due to limited quantities, only one flag per household will be issued. You may purchase a replacement from local retailers if needed.
